Work in Progress		1998 to present-Freelance Avid and Final Cut Pro Editor   As a freelance editor I work on a lot of projects including spots, home video releases, promos, and corporate videos. I'm not a button pusher who waits for the director to provide a shot log. Instead I take the initiative while editing to anticipate the needs of my clients. I work quickly, efficiently, and creatively, and I focus not just on the job at hand, but also on how the intended audience will perceive it.
	More Avid Work		1996 to 1998-Avid Editor-MSH Entertainment   I handled all facility post production, but my primary focus was cutting the CGI portions of the nationally syndicated television show, Van-Pires. Often working on three episodes at once I created the initial storyboard tapes, broke down all of the individual CGI shots, synched audio for the animation team, ran the daily shot approval sessions, transferred completed animation from the render farm to the Avid, and edited the finished shots.
	Facility Experience		1992 to 1996-Post Production Supervisor-East End Productions   I performed all online and offline editing, scheduled edit and voiceover sessions, and created graphics. Using linear and non-linear systems I edited videotapes for local commercial broadcast, live meetings, tradeshows, satellite broadcasts, and CD-ROM titles.
	Editor / Post Production Manager		1987 to 1989-Editor-Amdahl Video Production Group   I supervised the daily operation of linear edit suite for Amdahl's Video Production Group. Edited projects of various lengths, types, and topics. These included short executive presentations, promotional pieces, motivational tapes, financial reports, and instructional programs. I also scheduled edit sessions and coordinated graphics for numerous videos.
